Beach Bistro on Anna Maria Island offers cocktails “on the beach” everyday starting at 3:00 p.m. Offering only the finest liquors, fresh fruit and fruit juices, Beach Bistro opens their beachfront dining room onto the Gulf for afternoon cocktail service coupled with cocktail plates of smoked salmon, artisan cheeses and charcuterie. The party moves indoors at 5 p.m. when the dining room opens.

Four, two-bedroom cottage units have been completely transformed, with new kitchens and baths featuring granite countertops; new flooring, furnishings, and new Florida island-style decorative accents and bedding.
The Anna Maria Island Historical Society (AMIHS) and its committee for the preservation of historic barrier island homes and buildings announced the first of twelve historic markers to be presented to Anna Maria Island structures that are more than 50 years old. The first small ceremony took place at the foot of the pier on Thursday, October 30th.
